Preloved vintage comfit pot without lid.

16cm tall  and rim 13cm in diameter.

Confit is French for preserve.  Pots were originally made to store meat and poultry and were dug into the ground.

This would make a great ornamental pot with or without flowers or a kitchen utensils pot.
