Vintage French Confit Pot

Glazed confit pot without lid

29cm tall  and rim 20cm in diameter.

It doesn't have it's lid but the pot is in excellent condition. 

Confit is French for preserve.  Pots were originally made to store meat and poultry and were dug into the ground.

This would make a great ornamental pot with or without flowers.

Would also make a good jar for storing vegetables.

Due to the size of this item it will have to go as a medium parcel but you can add other items to the order and postage will only be charged once
